The
State of Rhode Island requires
all food establishments that prepare
potentially hazardous foods, must employ
at least one certified food safety
manager. I offer these training classes for
Food Safety Certification and Re-certification. (You must be re-certified every three years.)
My teaching approach is unique. I offer both a hands-on learning experience in a commercial kitchen (or classes held
at your establishment), as well as Online Food Safety Training courses you can take at home, on your own computer.
I am a retired inspector from the RI Department of Health, Office of Food Protection. I am a
certified Food Safety Instructor in the State of Rhode Island as well as a Test Administrator and Trainer with the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals.
The examination is available in eight (8) languages – English, Spanish, Vietnamese, Arabic, Korean, Japanese and Modern Chinese and Traditional Chinese.

CERTIFICATION
CLASS:
Registration fee of $185 includes textbook
and examination for this 15 Hour Course.
You may obtain your
certificate by attending any one of the
on-site classes, or computer-based training is also available for your convenience.
RECERTIFICATION:
Registration
fee of $75 includes certificate of completion
and instruction materials. These are six
(6) hour classes with no examination. You
may renew your certification up to twelve
months prior to expiration and up to six
months after expiration.
You may renew your
certificate by attending any one of the
on-site classes, or computer-based training is also available for your convenience.
